Yes Do you support a wealth tax in order to pay for public programs?
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations, unions, and individuals?
Yes Do you support protecting government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct?
I support Qualified Immunity for Law Enforcement Officers. State laws allow for criminal liability for actions deemed to not be within the law or standards outlined for peace officers.
Yes Do you support increasing defense spending?
Increases in Defense spending should be monitored through the Senate Appropriations committee.
Yes Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth (e.g. grants, tax incentives)?
No Do you support the federal government increasing funding for affordable housing programs?
Yes Do you support the federal government taking action, beyond those of the Federal Reserve, to alleviate inflation?
I believe that Congress has the ability to affect positive change to effect Inflation. I also believe the FED has too much control over banks within their regulatory district while having a vote on FED regulations moving forward.
No Do you support the forgiveness of federal student loan debt?
Federal Student Loan debt was explicitly known that it could not be defaulted on nor forgiven unless applying for a public service relief program.
Yes Do you support requiring a government-issued identification in order to vote at the polls?
Yes Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
Yes Do you support the federal government allowing permits for drilling on public lands?
Energy Independence
Yes Do you generally support gun-control legislation (e.g. red flag laws, boyfriend loopholes)?
I believe loopholes need to be closed and I have a hybrid solution utilizing Red-Flag laws and local Law Enforcement to report issues related to mental illness. The solution is also based on the case pending in the Supreme court currently US. V Rahimi.
No Do you support a government-run (e.g. single-payer) healthcare program, such as Medicare-for-All?
Yes Do you support expanding paid family AND/OR medical leave benefits (e.g. maternity leave)?
No Should the government be able to regulate the cost of prescription drugs?
Agreements for medical healthcare programs provided by the Government for Prescription benefits benefits everyone. Group plans and self insured plans that can also pool their benefits to employees for the best cost sharing is beneficial to all.
Yes Do you support increasing security along the southern US border?
Yes Do you support requiring immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship, regardless of their immigration status?
I am committed in reforming Immigration once and for all. I also have suggestions to adding expanded expedited citizenship to those who are married to a US citizen and has a family , paying taxes, current papers for no longer than a period of 3-6 months after application. No attorney needed.
Yes Do you support economic intervention as a means of resolving international conflicts?
Yes Do you support the US providing increased offensive military aid to Ukraine?
I would support Ukraine funding for the future as long as it comes with audits for future funding along with previous funding. Supplies instead of actual cash until agreements are made for audits would be acceptable.
Yes Do you generally support increased regulations on social media companies (e.g. Tik Tok, Facebook, etc.)?
There are too many scams utilizing the messaging features in some social media platforms. higher security for consumers are warranted.
Immigration reform and funding to implement future programs and actually building a wall to subvert dangerous border crossing conditions. There should not be any allocated requests for new funding without applying it over a prorated congressional session and monitored by the Senate Appropriations committee. Accountability for Congress is essential in allowing citizens to regain trust in congress moving forward. I believe there should be a bill requiring Congress for each congressional session to provide a deficit reduction plan and budget reduction plan for a period of 5-10 years. I also believe there should be an addendum on each funding bill that increases the deficit explaining explicitly the reason for the increase so the American people know what congress is doing. I also believe that Infrastructure is a major problem nationwide. I believe that each congressional session should receive from each state an assessment for infrastructure for a period of 5-10 years along with a threat assessment for major potential targets. It does not make sense to approve green programs without knowing if our infrastructure will support these programs in our future.
